Some paintings flow out of your brush like magic silk...but that wasn’t exactly the case with this one. It was challenging and frustrating and nearly made its way to the nearest paper shredder. In the end though I’m grateful it survived. It felt fitting to name it Hope. Hope isn’t always easy and sometimes you need to fight for it, but when you have it you feel like your are guilded with stars.
